ABOUT
Anton has over 25 years of experience in research and applied geophysics, including more than 15 years with geophysical equipment manufacturers.
He studied at Saint-Petersburg Mining Institute (SPMI), Saint-Petersburg State University, and École Nationale Supérieure de Géologie (ENSG). His professional career began in Russia, continued in France, and later developed in Canada. While employed by Canadian companies, he participated in numerous projects worldwide.
Starting his career in academic research as a laboratory assistant, Anton gradually moved into applied geophysics in both ground and airborne exploration. His roles evolved from technician and data processor to geophysicist and crew chief.
From 2009 to 2025, he was actively involved in the geophysical equipment development and supply industry. In addition to participating in equipment development, testing, marketing, and sales, Anton was directly engaged in technical support and training — designing and delivering programs for airborne, ground, and drone-based electromagnetics, magnetometry, and radiometric methods.
The decision to establish AV Geophysics as an independent consultancy arose from a desire to share this knowledge and experience with the industry — with a strong focus on improving field data acquisition and processing practices.
